Hi, I have the settings of 'General > Startup > [checked] Open previous windows and tabs' on. Most of the time it works as expected, but there are several occurrences when all of the sudden all of my pinned tabs are gone. When this happened, I usually tried the 'Command + Shift + T' to restore them. Sometimes they came back, some other times, they don't.

Can you fix it?

It's starting to get really irritating because I can have >12 tabs pinned and it's troublesome to have to remember them all in case this happens again in the future.

Several passwords were saved by Firefox. They are only saved locally ( no sync with Mozilla account). I recently upgraded my laptop from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Since the upgrade, no password is available in "Saved Password" section. I checked my profile and I can find logins.json file ( with all encypted logins and passwords) and key4.db file. I suppose my passwords cannot be decrypted as they were encrypted with Windows 10.

Is there a way to recover my passwords?

I'm running the latest version of Windows 10 and Firefox 143.0.1.

I recently bought my first OLED monitor, so I enabled auto-hide taskbar in Windows to try and reduce the chance of burn-in. However, while it works for the most part, it seems to often break in Firefox where the taskbar will hide, but not reappear when I move my mouse pointer to the bottom of the screen.

You can replicate this issue by having FF not maximised, then dragging its window titlebar to the top of the screen and letting go in order to maximise it. At that point, the taskbar no longer pops up when you mouse over the bottom of the screen.

How do I turn on the video control bar typically located at the bottom center of the screen? It controls features such as speed up video playback, volume boost, expand screen etc. I have in on some of my pc’s but not one one of them.

Close Firefox Turn off internet access Run CCleaner indicates Firefox internet cache cleared of ~23k of information Open Firefox browser (internet still off) Close Firefox browser Run CCleaner, and again it shows Firefox internet cache cleared of ~23k of information.

It seems to me that Firefox is still recalling cached data from somewhere. Can this caching (disk?) be disabled?

I have a number of old ReayNas Duo machines which I cannot afford to replace. Until recently they worked fine with Firefox after setting TLS to 1. Now, although I can log in, the menus done' work. Instead of taking you to the menu item the they close the menu & add 'Duo' to the page title. This is repeated each time you try to use a menu. The only exception is the 'logs' option, which seems to operate correctly. I'm using Firefox 143,0,1 on Linux Mint 22.2.

I have a few questions regarding the auto-update policy of extensions installed via ExtensionSettings with the force_installed installation mode.

1. Can the extension receive auto-updates just like extensions installed through normal means? (e.g. https://addons.mozilla.org)

1. If so, will the user be notified when the extension requests new permissions?

Hello why my firefox installation 1440b6 64 bit on windows 10 do not autocomplete the third field in a form login ..

namely , username and identification password are correctly filled , but the third field (that in my case are named "company ID") would not, it remain empty, and i need to manually fill in each time. Actually this happen only on a one site , but may be because only this site that i use have a three field to fill in the login page...all the others need only password and username

I tried using the Google AI to help with this and it gave me instructions to resolve the situation using developer tools, but was a dead end. I hit a roadblock trying to find a "uriTemplate" for another webmail service. The only one that had been on the mailto list was Gmail and I had removed it prior to starting this process, so there was no uriTemplate to be found. I tried calling Spectrum for help, but that was useless. Does anyone know another way to go about this?

Using my Firefox browser I tried to login to mozilla account and I get the message "Local storage and cookes are required". I unblocked all cookie settings but have the same problem. I am able to log in using my MS Windows Edge browser, which I am presently using for this post.

Just upgraded one computer to Firefox v143.0.1 and now familysearch.org is very slow and will not load hints. v142.0.1 is still on my other computer and familysearch.org works normally. Within familysearch, I can click on a hint and a pane opens on the right. It normally populates within a second or two at most. With v143.0.1, it takes a minute to partially populate, then it goes no further. With v142.0.1 it works normally. I've disabled add-ons. Cleared cache. Deleted TEMP files. Restarted browser. Restarted computer. Nothing has worked. Previous upgrades over the years have not had this issue. Other browsers (Chrome, Vivaldi, Brave, Edge, SeaMonkey) do not have this issue. Hi, I’ve noticed that Firefox often uses a lot of memory when I have multiple tabs open, even more than Chrome or Edge on the same number of tabs. Sometimes it slows down my system or makes switching between tabs laggy.

Is this normal behavior, or is there a way to reduce Firefox’s RAM usage without losing performance? Are there specific settings, add-ons, or troubleshooting steps I should try?

Slow website loading (30+ seconds) on some websites (the same ones) for over a week now. Have tried MANY things. No issues with MS Edge loading the same sites. Using Windows 10. Data copied. Help please.
